An I-Spy quilt is a long-lasting, fun-packed gift that provides endless opportunities to learn through play.
What makes an I-Spy quilt special? It’s not ‘just’ a cosy blanket or a fun play rug (although it is those things too!). Dotted all over an I-Spy quilt are fabrics with prints featuring anything from astronauts to zebras! Toddlers love playing the finding game: spread the quilt on the floor, on a sofa or outdoors on the grass; look for particular images or name the objects as they find them. Older children can have fun searching for particular images incorporating phonics learning as they play I-Spy With My Little Eye something beginning with … Give it a go using the small section of an I-Spy quilt pictured below… something beginning with ‘T’ …

All the quilts I create are made from top quality quilting cottons (easy care and breathable). Between the patchwork and backing is a top quality quilting wadding (the one’s I use are at least 70% natural fibres or manufactured from recycled fibres).
